1. Casino (1995)
When you throw Robert De Niro, Jo Pesci and Sharon Stone together in a movie you know the outcome is going to be tremendous, and the epic crime film ‘Casino’ is just that. Taking in a whopping $116million at the box office, Casino is still to this day one of the best movies ever made. Released in 1995, this gambling-themed movie dives deep into the story of a casino ran by the Mafia, featuring shakedowns, mob enforcers and steamy relationships ‘Casino’ provides the perfect recipe for a gambling crime movie hit.
2. Ocean's Eleven (2001)
Combine an all-star Hollywood cast for one massive heist and you’ve got the first instalment to the Ocean’s Trilogy, in the immensely popular Ocean’s Eleven. Soon after his release from prison Danny Ocean is up to his usually tricks again, but this time he’s after the biggest score of his life as he concocts a plan to take down Vegas’ biggest casinos in a triple heist, targeting the Bellagio, the Mirage and the MGM Grand. With the biggest box office opening of the trilogy, Ocean’s Eleven is a must watch for any fan of gambling.
